The fundamental role of the Master Plus Gateway is to send cyclic I/O data between the two networks quickly. This relieves your PLC of the need to perform additional calculations. This eliminates the requirement for a PLC controller. For diagnostic purposes, optional control and status information is appended to the I/O data. Master Plus Gateway requires very low maintenance and replacement costs. Stand-alone housing that can withstand extreme industrial conditions. They are very effective as well as economical to use.
